Sterling Engineering Solutions was founded in 1996 by a partnership of PPC Plant Services and Reid A. Garst.  Based in Virginia, Sterling has earned a reputation as a knowledgeable, hardworking and honest company.  We believe in partnering with customers to provide them with innovative solutions.  Using a consultative approach, we strive to understand our clients’ goals and requirements.  

• Sterling is an established representative and distributor for more than a dozen well-known and highly respected industrial instrumentation and control manufacturers.  Drawing from our extensive line of quality products, we then match the most effective product to the application. 

• Sterling also maintains a diversified client base of industrial, municipal and institutional accounts.  Many clients have been with us since the beginning.  We believe these lasting partnerships speak to the integrity of our company.  We are happy to provide references.

• In an effort to provide complete solutions for our clients, Sterling’s offering has expanded beyond instrument and control component sales to application engineering, product sales and training, Sterling is offering expanded systems engineering, panel fabrication, on-site programming and telemetry startup. Sterling focues on engineering and turnkey control solutions for: water and waste water treatment, energy generation and transmission, facilities operations, drive systems, boiler controls and coal and natural gas recovery.
